in Nebraska
In a town named for a president, in the shade of a pleasant spring day, with a head cold relentless as bad credit. Trying not to forget that I am here, I am alive, I have weight. Whatever else is true, this much at least is the case: I exist, I am strong, and I am a citizen of some republic.

Nonsense, headcolds go away after a week or so, it takes seven years to dodge bad credit. Why are you in NE?

Hello, my post-tax-season friend!
I was in Nebraska to see a friend, and to do a little writing – sadly, the cold made writing difficult and I only got to see the friend for a brief time. Now I’m in Philadelphia, which is much more my speed.
And how’s your world?
